Har Grover is the founder of Nucleus. As an entrepreneur and senior executive he has built and grown companies at all stages, from start-up to commercialization, to going public and growing through the $1 billion revenue mark. He has breadth of experience across all functional areas, with depth of experience in sales and marketing and corporate development. He is adept at managing changing company circumstances and has a passion for innovation and disruptive technologies.
Over a 25+ year career in both Canada and the United States, he has created double and triple digit growth through strategic transactions, entering new markets in North America, and sales and marketing strategies.
His deal sheet includes mergers/acquisitions, strategic alliances, private equity financings, spin-out/divestitures, out-licensing, in-licensing, start-ups and equity restructurings.
He has led one of the larger buyouts in the Canadian healthcare market. He was formerly an executive at Canada’s largest health and life sciences company, where he played a variety of roles in helping the company achieve record setting growth.
Har has an undergraduate degree in the medical sciences, an MBA and obtained his certification as a Certified Management Consultant.
Cathy Steiner has over twenty years experience as a senior financial services executive. As a Managing Director of Nucleus GC, Cathy provides capital markets and strategic advisory services with a focus on financings, mergers and acquisitions, business development, and growth strategy.
Prior to that, Cathy was head of Healthcare Investment Banking for CIBC World Markets in Canada, where she was responsible for meeting the financing and advisory objectives of Canadian healthcare clients. In this capacity, Cathy was involved in raising approximately $1 billion in equity and advised on Canada’s largest healthcare M&A transactions, aggregating well over $1 billion.
Previously, Cathy led Healthcare Investment Banking for Yorkton Securities (now Macquarie Capital Markets), was an Associate at First Marathon Securities (now National Bank Financial), and was a tax specialist at Deloitte.
Cathy has a M.Sc. (McMaster University), MBA (Schulich School of Business, York University), and a C.A.
